Our Mary Seacole Storytelling workshops are designed for primary school children and offer an insight into the life of 19th century nurse Mary Seacole and her work at the British Hotel. The storytelling workshops last for an hour and are led by a costumed actress playing the role.
We launched our Mary Seacole workshops at the National Trust’s Sutton House for their 2015 Black History Month season and are delighted to be offering this workshop to children throughout the UK this year.
Please note that we place great emphasis on safeguarding the children we work with. All our workshop leaders and assistants are therefore fully trained and have valid enhanced DBS certificates.
